Shamanistic living

topic posted Sun, March 30, 2008 - 1:16 PM by  kahuna Lamaku
Yo. I was chillin with my homies over the Makahiki holidays and became inspired to take my vows as a Kahuna of Huna. I avoided it for years because I take it very seriously and didn't feel ready for it. I'm sorry my Lani didn't live to see it. Anyway, this shamanistic lifestyle is both challenging and uplifting. I wanted to share with you one of the pages from my organization's website entitled "Reality Checking". Forgive my kahuna's spelling and/or grammatical errors. www.the-light-of-huna.com/Reali...ng.htm Aloha, Lamaku. PS- I will soon be able to make ki'i kukui healing icons for others.

    thank you for sharing!!

however i want to make a respond..."If they told me that one had appeared to them, I'd think they were nuts. But if other people were also there at the time...well that is as reality checked as one can get."

or maybe...insanity is contagious and if a mad person can get powerful enough he can influence his friends and family into believing in and sharing his hallucinations...

    hehe...just teasing of course :)

Hi Michelle. I'm like "the litte engine that could". Without support and friends to remind me that I could do it, I would have ended up looking up at the mountain wondering forever. Now, if I can figure a way to get some clients that would be nice. Should I stand on a street corner with a sign that says "Will heal you for $$$"? If I move to the Netherlands I could put up a sign that says "Will heal you for sex" couldn't I? Darn my lack of marketing skills. Aloha, Lamaku.

        Haha..

Nicely put. But I don't think you want to buy a mansion and a yacht with your healing skills, right?
I guess mouth to mouth information will get you right there.
Results above all, then respect and love for your clients are most important keys.

A lot of luck and power on your path.
        Many blessings.

pfffft! you don't need perfected marketing skills bro

just stay in the flow ....

allow the connections to occur ...

it "does" help to get out of the house & have "something" marketing like out there to help them connect with you, but the #1 thing is that YOU are open to accepting the clients and to the exchange of money for your time & talents

        & listen to Geert :)

    There is no coincidence.
    Only intelligence.
We live in this Universe of Intelligence because the Intelligence chooses to see our individual perspective.
Yes things of natural law can be changed by believing it may be doen.
There may be some processes that more readily inable us a see things from the perspective of the All-Possible.
I am happy to read that you have found something in this Life to bring meaning for you.
May you ever and always be able to hold on to that.

Hi Randall. Thank you for your blessing. I could no more divest myself of Huna than I could my liver. It is part of me. My vows sometimes fall by the wayside when I'm not feeling well but, that can't be helped. The same qualities in me that allow me to do what I do also make it hard to function in this society. I'm like a monk without a monastary. That is not true for all kahunas or shamans. There are others far more capable yet successful marketing escapes most real shamans that are allowed to teach. Most of the Huna ads you see on the internet will not lead you to Huna teachings. They have some value but, are not Huna. Oh well. Life goes on. Aloha, kahuna Lamaku.
