Hi all,
I asked this in forms of consciousness tribe but i got no replies yet.
this morning as I was in a deep sleep, my phone was about to ring.
generally, these days, I awaken fully before my phone rings.
at the prelude to my phone ringing, I was aware of being in two places at once.
that is the best way I can explain it. it was odd, but It was a kind of duality.
anybody experienced this?
on another note, I also seem to be finding that i can wake up and not feel tired.
I could never do that before.

Re: out of body?
Thu, October 29, 2009 - 1:31 PMit sounds like you may have been "out of body" of a sort. Consider time as well. You maybe, in consciousness, had an experience where you were in the past, present and future at the same time. This idea comes from the "I am" anouncement. Not who am I but where am I? Most people identify with the body,,,, "I am in here". Consider the observer, the other "I" that is looking at the person saying or noticing the "I" that is saying "I am in here". -

Way out, way in too
Thu, October 29, 2009 - 8:14 PMI have heard of bilocation. I knew someone who told stories of being visited by his spiritual teacher in the states while the teacher was physically in another country.
I have not personally had an experience like it. Though quite a few times had remote viewing experiences which resemble it.
So much is happening and we are all going throught such rapid transformations, I've just taken on a bring it on attitude. It's not excrutiating and often exhilarating, so I'm all-in, I don't know about you. -

Re: Way out, way in too
Sun, November 1, 2009 - 4:06 PMIn the yogic traditions, as well as many others, such as don Juan's Toltec path in Mexico..
Respectively in order, the yogi can assimilate his will in order to appear or communicate with a subject in a completely different physical place, and the toltec shaman uses his DREAMING double to walk the earth.. even in his waking state!
You may want to read up on Don Juan's teachings of dreaming and the energetic 'double', this will shed the most light, I believe, on sleep inducing the feeling or actuality of being present in two places at once. -

Re: Way out, way in too
Mon, November 2, 2009 - 7:55 AMThere is another analogy that gives a wonderful perspective on bi-location:
The mind experiences time like a river. You are the in the boat floating down stream and cannot see what is down stream until you get there.
The soul experiences time like a lake. Dropping a stone(mind) from above, looking down, the ripples made in the water going to the left represent the past, to the right, the future. From this "looking down" you are essentially in all places at once in relation to time.
*Of course for the mind to be in two places at once in a waking state, making memories would be an amazing thing if the mind identity is the same. Hmmmm....... -

Re: out of body?
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 12:11 PMBewith, that link is interesting.
the reason I find it interesting is not to do withthis thread specifically..
more the identity of an empath as a new physiological condition.

Re: out of body?
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 4:03 AMSounds like a paralysis dream.. where the dreamer knows he is in bed and also in a dream but can't wake up..
Was it scary..?
Dreams have a lot of effect on waking life.. and vice versa..
A bad or good dream can affect your entire day.. and a bad day can affect a good night's sleep..
So if you keep track of your dreams you can enhance performance during the day and can induce lucidity in dreaming...
Dreaming and waking life are connected in fascinating ways.. -

Re: out of body?
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 12:06 PMHi Geert,
no this wasn't scary at all.
it was like a split second awareness.
and i was able to be fully awake and alert immediately.
no grogginess that i expect after sleep.
it was like my system had gotten me ready to answer that phone call.
to be completely honest i can't place the sensation. I can't even remember exactly what it was like, I only know that afterwards, I knew that the best way to explain it was being in two places at once. -

Re: out of body?
Thu, November 5, 2009 - 12:32 PMIt is possible that your consciousness was outside your body..
In momemts of panic one can also feel as if one floats above one's body..
Also in trance or in deep meditation one can leave the body by will..
I did it myself as well.. in total relaxation.. total tranquility.. forgetting the body and letting consciousness float..
Then travelling to places...
Have you ever tried things as sensory-deprivation..? -
-
Re: out of body?
Thu, November 5, 2009 - 8:11 PMi'm not sure what a sensory deprivation is.
but i always liked the idea of trying some intense type of ritual like a heat lodge. -

Re: out of body?
Fri, November 6, 2009 - 12:00 PMIt's when you don't get stimulated by light, sound and touch.
Like in an isolation tank.. or a darkened, silent room
Then, in that emptiness, you follow visions of your mind's eye..
If done correctly you forget your body and are intensely involved in your visions.. -
-
Re: out of body?
Fri, November 6, 2009 - 4:24 PMthat sounds quite scary.
darkness and emptiness.
i guess it depends on your frame of mind. -

Re: out of body?
Fri, November 6, 2009 - 6:07 PMi hear that you halucinate--i think that would be wonderfull.,the mind just letting go--putting on a show.,Far-Out.,
i love to meditate.,and ive been in places so still.,it was a little strange--but refreshing.,and had some vivd images and scenerys
going on--know yourself--the answers all lie with-in.,
our ancestors are in our genes and spirit
so the answer lies with-in., -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.

...calming of the breath...
...calming of the heart...
... confronting inintial thoughtprocesses.....
....calmiing of the mind.....
...calming of the soul..
...calming of the spirit...
....keep track of visions....
Then float right of into hyperspace...

Re: out of body?
Wed, November 4, 2009 - 6:13 PMtoday I experienced a similar thing.
before i awoke, i was aware of my body, but it was different.
in this state, I was not completely 'tied in' to my body. it was as though i was aware of it as a system that i control.
like getting into a car and remembering how to use the controls.
i was reminding myself how to control this body.
this seems a very strange sensation. -

Re: out of body?
Thu, November 5, 2009 - 12:08 PMAll is memory in reflection percieved through a gravity suit'
conciousness is an onion of many layers'
The base of this onion pyramid is held by gravity'
The top of this pyramid is light in vibration on a gentle curve'
Bliss!
